Our Approach
StudioZen are passionate about creating spaces that not only transform the property itself, but also the way that people live, work and feel in it.
We weave together interior design, interior architecture and exterior landscaping, although we can focus on any of those approaches individually if required. We also offer turnkey solutions, with all furniture thoughtfully sourced and installed to suit each place.
We especially love revitalising period buildings in a way that reflects the unique vision and lifestyle of every client. Tying this in with the history and spirit of a property is what, for us, makes the most successful projects.
The context is all-important, so considering people, personality and legacy is vital to our work. Materials are key, and flow matters – all these elements work in harmony to create a successful project. Authenticity may be an over-used word these days, but it perfectly encapsulates our approach.
Our Projects
We understand that your dream represents so much more than simply a family home. Creating the perfect space is often a deeply personal journey demanding an intensely collaborative, hands-on approach. For this reason, we rarely focus on more than a couple of projects at any time.
StudioZen’s current projects include the complete reinvigoration of a 17-acre rural estate in the Cotswolds, the facelift of a mews house in central London and the creation of a treehouse lodge in the remote wilderness of Kenya’s Maasai Mara.
